Edward is an introverted and reserved man with a distinct and severe facial difference. Determined to fulfill his dreams of becoming an actor, he agrees to an experimental new facial reconstructive procedure that dramatically alters his appearance. Yet all these changes may come with a steep price when he slowly loses his grasp on what was once truly important to him.
