This psychological horror film follows Belinda, a pregnant Black woman who's happily preparing for the arrival of her child with her white husband. But upon her husband's father's death, they are forced to honor his wishes of taking care of her husband's stepmother. While she looks frail and old, Belinda discovers that the woman has some sort of demonic facets that could lead to the destruction of their home and family.
